Hi, I’m so glad that you found CDH Australia.

We considered ourselves truly blessed to find them when our cherub, Arti Hodgson, was born in 2004. She was diagnosed at the 20 week ultrasound, and suddenly our lives hit a curve ball, one that involved us knowing what “Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia” was. Without this community of listeners, educators, carers, empathisers and nurturers, I don’t know how we would have coped. Arti is now a full-of-life school kid, experiencing all of the usual trials and tribulations of a seven year old, with just a few hints of her traumatic entry to the world.

On this journey is also my beloved husband Stuart, and our darling eldest daughter Hunter. We live in Sydney, and enjoy spending time at our country property in the Blue Mountains. Both Stuart and I have owned our own businesses for close to 10 years, and we look forward to applying the skills learnt to assist CDH Australia.

I’m delighted to be in a position to participate to CDH Australia, and hope that I can give back at least part of the generosity that I received when I needed them, and assist the growth of the community so that it may continue to help other families affected by CDH.
