More Than Just A Support Group

More Than Just A Support Group

Facing CDH? You’re not alone. Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) is a complex birth defect that can significantly impact families. We have been supporting Australian CDH families for well over 20 years. Contact us to find out how we can help you.

What Services Do We Offer?

  • Support Groups: Connect with other families who understand your experiences. Click here to access our main support group.  We also offer moderated groups especially for bereaved families; those raising a child with CDH; adult (and older teenage) CDHers; and families expecting their “rainbow baby” after a CDH experience.
  • Comprehensive Information: Access detailed information about CDH, medically-verified by recognised CDH expert clinicians.
  • Fundraising Initiatives: Contribute to vital research and support programs through various fundraising activities.
  • Awareness: We help to elevate CDH in the public’s eye. Share your stories and help others impacted by CDH to find us.
  • Online Resources: We don’t have a paywall, or require your information for you to access reliable CDH information.

How Can CDH Australia Help You?

Whether you’re a newly diagnosed family or already on the CDH journey, we are here to walk alongside you.

  • Understanding: Connect with others who understand the challenges and joys of raising a child with CDH, or remembering your angel.
  • Practical Advice: Access information on treatment options, medical appointments, and daily care.
  • Advocacy: Be part of a community working towards a brighter future for individuals with CDH.
